Research Center for International Political Economics

Introduction:

Guided by the basic principles and methodologies of Marxist political economy, the center for International Political Economics draws upon China's traditional culture and ideology and the positive elements of western economics, and takes stock of China's reform, opening-up, and socialist development experience. On such a basis, the center strives to explain phenomena in China's economic development and transformation, identify underlying theoretical rationale, and explore plausible pathways for the creation of “China economics. ”The center's current research priorities include the theory and practice of supply-side structural reforms, entrepreneurial spirit and innovation, the role of finance in serving the real economy, and macro-economic control theories and policies.
